Graduate Student
Kara (she/her) is a graduate student in the Molecular Biology department. She previously received her B.A. in Biology at College of the Holy Cross. Before coming to Princeton, she also spent two years working in Gildersleeve lab at the National Cancer Institute, where she helped characterize anti-glycan antibodies and develop new technologies for their use in cancer diagnostics. She is now interested in leveraging CRISPR-Cas13 to advance our understanding of cell biology and disease. Outside of the lab, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
