Gaeun Kim
Lab Assistant
Gaeun was a Lab Assistant in the Myhrvold Lab developing an assay to survey Cas13 variants. She previously worked on optimising a CRISPR-based COVID-19 detection assay in the Sabeti Lab at the Broad Institute, and continued to collaborate on this project at Princeton. In the Fordyce Lab at Stanford University, she worked on various biological applications of microfluidic technologies, including double emulsion droplets for single-cell analysis and bacterial pathogen detection. She recently completed a co-terminal BS/MS in Bioengineering at Stanford and is always happy to field questions about her cat/baby/angel named Mischa.
