Fatinah Albeez

Undergraduate Researcher

Fatinah is a graduate of the Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering at Princeton, with certificates in Engineering Biology and Global Health & Health Policy. Starting with her Junior Independent Work, she was co-advised by Professors Cameron Myhrvold and Antoine Kahn (ECE). Her research involves designing quantum nanoparticles called perovskites to optimize CRISPR-based viral diagnostic technology. She was awarded the Reiner G. Stoll Fellowship to continue her work through the summer leading into her Senior Thesis. Fatinah is interested in completing her MD post-Princeton to pursue a career as a surgeon scientist. Outside of the lab, Fatinah is an active member of the Princeton community, serving as the Class of 2023 Vice-President and on the Princeton Peer Nightline Executive Board.
